Digital Literacy to Strengthen Community Early Grade Reading Efforts Ideation Workshop

A mother in India reads stories from her mobile phone to children gathered around her

You are invited to join All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development and the Intel® Learn Program on International Literacy Day for a participatory ideation exploring the linkage of information and communications technologies (ICT) skills training and the strengthening of community literacy efforts.

Youth have a high interest in the low-cost ICT increasingly available in their schools and communities as well as ICT training opportunities.  Can this interest and resultant skill sets be applied to early grade reading efforts to reach the 250 million young learners around the world who cannot read?
